One of our key instructions in January was for Aaron (meet the team here), who visited a meticulously restored detached house, believed to date back to the late 17th century. The property, located in Halesworth, Suffolk features traditional rendered and lime-washed elevations, while a striking north-side section has been carefully rebuilt with modern aluminium exterior cladding. Inside, the property features exposed timbers, oak floorboards, and characterful fireplaces that celebrate its rich history. The current owners have incorporated reclaimed materials, adding unique touches throughout the home.

To ensure a comprehensive assessment of the property, Aaron utilised a drone to capture detailed images of the roof. The imagery was compiled into the RICS Home Survey Level 3 report for the client, to ensure the underlying construction and condition of the property is understood.
